Boker Plus MA-2 Fixed Blade Neck Knife (2.5" Gray)

While the knife is officially discontinued by Boker, it is highly regarded by the EDC community as a reliable, unobtrusive backup or self-defense neck knife. The MA-2 is highly sought-after tactical fixed-blade knife, because it is no longer in production. It is currently sold out at most major authorized retailers, though occasionally available on the secondary market like Loki-360 Tactical.  Users on the Knife Center Reviews page praise its slim profile, secure Kydex sheath, and clever ergonomics, though some note that the chisel grind takes some getting used to. 

 

• The Profile: It features a perfectly straight cutting edge with a spine that curves sharply downward to meet the tip.
• Why it looks different: The spine has a distinct, aggressive swedge (false edge) near the tip, giving it a slightly tactical, angular look rather than a traditional smooth curve.
• The Cut: The blade is completely flat on one side and beveled on the other side.
• The Purpose: This design allows for a incredibly sharp, strong edge that is exceptionally good at precise slicing, scraping, and utility cutting.

Because of the blade having incredible versatility in where you can conceal this knife, it has become increasingly harder to get while price reflects just that.
